You Might Be Onto Something If An Often Reliable Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s latest report It is precise. According to Kuo, Apple plans to produce only between 60,000 and 80,000 Vision Pro units for the headphones’ launch on February 2, stating that the device “will sell out shortly after launch.”

In 2024, Apple is expected to produce only 400,000 Vision Pros due to how complex the manufacturing process for the headphones is. The device will launch in the US first, but will arrive in other regions (including Canada) in late 2024.
As in the early days of Oculus, those who purchase the Vision Pro are now essentially beta testers for future, more refined versions of the expensive experimental device. In fact, Apple likely doesn’t want the final version of its AR ambitions to be tied to a bulky headset and is instead working to release a sleeker device that resembles more normal-looking glasses.
